Aqua Kaua‘i Beach Resort Hosts E Kanikapila Kākou 2014 Garden Island Arts Council’s Premier Hawaiian Music Program Series

Honolulu, Hawai‘i – Aqua Hotels & Resorts® ( is pleased to announce that Aqua Kaua‘i Beach Resort is home to E Kanikapila Kākou (EKK) 2014.

This year’s EKK 2014 is themed (if that’s correct) “Continuing the Legacy” and celebrates the best Hawaiian musicians, seasoned and up-and-coming artists. The 10-week series kicked off on January 20 with Kimo Hussey and the Kaua’i Kama’ainas (Edward Punua, Jack Wilhelm, and Gabby Manintin) followed by Cyril L Pahinui, Jeff Au Hoy and Peter W. Moon Jr. on January 27.

“It is an honor to be host hotel for this annual Hawaiian music showcase,” said David Sosner, Aqua Kaua‘i Beach Resort general manager. “We are huge supporters of Hawaii’s culture and music is one of the most entertaining forms of our island heritage.”

All events take place from 6 – 9 p.m. in the resort’s Jasmine Ballroom (except for the EKK Concert on March 9 which starts at 7 p.m.). The calendar includes:
