Honolulu, Hawaii – March 25, 2013 – Aqua Hospitality® (, Hawaii’s leading hotel management company, has promoted Lisa Bankston to corporate director of online marketing. In her new role, Bankston will spearhead the company’s online marketing efforts as it restructures its 24-property group into three distinctive brands: Monogram Hotel Collection, Aqua Hotels & Resorts and Lite Hotels.

“Lisa has proven her leadership abilities by preparing the online team to take on additional responsibilities, especially as Aqua continues with its rebranding efforts,” said Elizabeth Churchill, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Aqua Hospitality. “Lisa is focused, driven and understands how to prioritize the needs of our hotel owners with her dedication to their top line performance.”

Bankston brings more than twelve years of eCommerce, Web Analytics, and Digital Marketing experience to Aqua. Most recently, she was Director of Digital Marketing for JCPenney. Prior to that, she was Director of Online Marketing for Men’s Wearhouse Group, Client Services Director for IBM CoreMetrics and Account Director at ICrossing managing accounts such as Nestle Purina, FedEX and Accenture.
